Hi! My name is Gabriela Galíková and I’m 17 years old. 
I live in a small village near Brno called Vranov. Since 2012 I have been studying at "Gymnázium Slovanské náměstí 7". To be honest, I may not be the best at Maths, but I am quite good at Physics and I care a lot about enviromental and sciences like Chemistry and Biology. My favourite subjects are however Latin, English and Psychology. I also like History and Geography. I like studying foreign languages and travelling. 
When I happen not to be travelling I enjoy spending time with my friends  or family and my dog called Jasmine. Besides my dog I also have two siblings - brother Jakub and sister Amelia. Lately, my biggest hobby has been Youtube. I love watching lots of Youtubers making covers of my favourite songs, short movies and funny vlogs. 
Another important part of my life is music and sport. I have played the violin since 2005 and I also play guitar a little bit. I like to listen to indie rock and sometimes even jazz. My favourite musicians are The Beatles. From sport, I am the most into running, scuba diving and skiing. Sport is something that makes me happy and I could not live without it. 
I am really looking forward to new experiences and meeting new people!

Hi, my name is Kristýna Bajerová. I am 17 years old and I come from Brno. 
My parents got divorced, but I don’t mind. I see my dad very often although he lives in Prague, which is the capital of Czech Republic. I live almost in the middle of Brno, in an apartment with my mum and my younger brother who is 14 years old.
I like sports a lot. Running, swimming, skiing, tennis and cycling but most of all, I love floorball. I have been playing this game for 7 years. I also like to watch sports on TV. Lately, I have been reading a lot. Mainly Czech but sometimes English books as well. I also like music, watching horror movies and spending time with my friends.
For the last two years I have been studying at "Gymnázium Slovanské náměstí". My favourite subjects are Biology, Latin, Physics and History.
I look forward to new experiences and meeting new people!

Hi, my name is Kristýna Červinková. As you may know I am from the Czech Republic. I would love to visit Sicily, because I find Italy very interesting. My family consists of my sisters and my parents. My sisters are twins and they are ten years old. My parents are both doctors and very kind people. I love travelling, climbing, eating, listening to good music and meeting my friends. My favourite band is Maroon 5 and the Kooks. I don’t have any pet. I will be happy, if you choose me. :-)

Hello, my name is Mora Gonzalez and I am from Rio Negro, Argentina. I am 18.
I would like to go to Sicily, because I love travelling, meeting new places, people and cultures. And I think going to Italy is a very good and interesting opportunity to exchange some experiences!
My hobbies are listening to music, going to contemporary dance and power jump classes. When I have some free time I enjoy reading a book, taking a walk, painting, meeting with my friends, or just listening to music.
I like all kinds of music, and i listen to a lot of bands. But my favourite ones are The Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, and some other bands like Foster the People, Phoenix, Muse, and Coldplay.
In Argentina I am only a child and I live with my parents and my cat and dog.
Im a very enthusiastic and cooperative person, so if you choose me I would be more than glad to take part in this project!!

Hi, my name's Matěj (in English Matthew) and I'm 16, and attending a gymnasium in Grade 1.
I chose particularly language school because in my opinion learning languages is very useful for everyone, therefore I feel really eager to study different kinds of languages. My school itself is very important for my life nowadays because of my friends and people that I meet every single day. I think I'm quite talkative, especially at school and I love to meet new people and friends.
Yes, many people think that I'm bit of a nerd, and that's true but I certainly don't like Maths, which makes me much smaller nerd than I would be, if I liked Maths.
I'd tried to play handball, do swimming competition a fight the karate and some time ago I quitted playing floorball. All of these sports I stopped doing after 3 weeks. :D So, I'm not a sport fan.
But I'm really interested in culture, particularly in the theatre and movies. I'm sort of an actor (not professional), I play in English theatre acting historical pieces. I'm the poorest member of our school girls' choir. Every time I feel exhausted among those high voices. :(
My favorite subjects are: Czech Language (sign of my nationalism), English, History and Psychology a.k.a. Social Science. I have to confess that Poland is for me the only bordering country I've never been to. I've just got knowledge about the existence of your state and know some cities and river Wisla. And that's it. So that's the thing that must be changed!
Couple of days ago I was asked to join a project Water in Our Life and it sounded interesting to me, so I am really looking forward to my visit! :) See you! Your Czech friend Matthew :)

Hi, my name is Eliška Zemanová and I´m 16 years old.
I live with my parents, older brother and tortoise in a house in Česká. It is a village not far from Brno. It takes me approximately 25 minutes by bus and 10 minutes by car to get to my school "Gymnázium Slovanské náměstí" where I´ve been studying since 2011. 
In my free time I go swimming. In winter (and it´s my favourite season) I really love skiing. But in every season of the year I enjoy walks in the nature. So I can say that I like sports and I try to eat in a healthy way. Apart from sports I´m interested in drawing and in creating some jewellery, I read mostly fantasy and adventurous books, watch thrillers, historic films but I love the cartoons too. There are many kinds of music I like for example Avicii, Linkin Park, Nickelback. I also enjoy baking some sweets, it´s relax for me. In school it´s difficult to say what I like. I´m interested in every subject but usually I like only some parts of them. 
My temperament is calm, I like when I have enough time for everything. But of course when I have to hurry, I do it. I think that I´m responsible and reliable. I like people with sense of humor and it´s important for me when I can trust them. 
My opinion is that this project will help me to meet new people and give us many experiences.

Hello! My name is Adriana, I am fifteen years old and I am from Slovakia, but I have been living in the Czech Republic since I turned nine. 
I really love nature and animals. We have three dogs and 40 fish. I am vegeterian. I really like going to the forest – I find it really important, one of my favorite quotes is „The human spirit needs places where nature has not been rearranged by the hand of man.“  I also love art, books, movies and music. I always look for unusual ones. I am a sport shooter – a pistol one, but except that, I am really bad at sports! 
During the day, I am usually in a good mood and full of energy, but in the morning, it is really hard for me to get out of the bed. I am also always excited about new things and I love meeting new people, so I can’t wait to get to know you!

Hi! My name is Kamila Pokorná and I am 16 years old.
I live in a family house in Nedvědice; it is a small village near Brno. I live here with my parents and my grandpa. We have a little cat that we call Linda. I have an older brother, he is 21 years old and he lives in the centre of Brno.
Since 2012 I have been studying at “Gymnázium Slovanské náměstí”. My favourite subjects are Latin, Psychology, and Geography. I also like natural sciences.
My big hobby is cooking and baking sweets, especially cakes. My other hobbies are playing PC games, reading books, listening to the music and watching films as well. I also like winter and winter sports – skiing, snowboarding and ice skating.

Hi, my name is Denisa Bodečková and I’m 16 years old.
I live in a small village called Nesovice. It’s quite far from Brno. The way to school takes me an hour and a half. I live here in a house with my parents and my older sister. Her name is Míša and she is 19 years old. I get on well with her. 
Since 2012 I have been studying at "Gymnázium Slovanské náměstí". My favourite subjects are Psychology, English and Biology.
In my free time I play the flute. I have been playing it for six years and I love it. I also like music, watching series and spending time with my friends.

Hello, my name is Lenka Kristková. 
I was born on the 25th March in 1997. I'm from the Czech Republic, but my mum comes from Russia. My parents got married and had two children – my brother and me. My brother is 22 years old. He lives with his girlfriend in different town. My parents got divorced 6 years ago. I live just with my mum in a small cosy flat, 15 minutes far from school. My mum is almost 50 years old. She's interpretor and accountant. We have a bird (corella). We called it Kаркуша. 
When I was younger, I played the piano and flute, but I found my truly passion in sports. I love snowboarding, ice skating, running ang swimming. I love dancing too. I like watching series: The Walking Dead, Skins, The Big Bang Theory and Hart of Dixie are my favourites. I watch many YouTube gameplayers and moviemakers. Pewdiepie and Norman are my favourites.

My name is Markéta Nečasová and I am 17 years old.  I live in a house in Blansko, it is a small town nearby Brno. I have older brother who is 20 years old.

I am interested in art that´s why I make ceramics, take photos, read novels and listen to music. My favourite artists are Snow Patrol and OneRepublic. I love dancing and singing. In free time I watch movies as Midnight in Paris or Amelie from Montmartre. From sport, I enjoy swimming and skiing.

Since 2012 I have been studying at "Gymnázium Slovanské náměstí". I like a lot of school subjects, for example Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Latin and English.

Hello, my name is Roman Tocháček and I was born on 14th of February 1997. 

I live in a flat in the centre of Brno. I really like sports. For example cycling, running, bowling and things like this. I like watching hockey and volleyball. I am trying to learn cooking. It is fun.  My favourite school subjects are chemistry, physics, biology, and of course English. I listen to very different types of music. My favourite musicians are Snow patrol but I also like Queen, Beatles, Andrea Bocelli or Eminem. I watch some TV series like a Big Bang Theory or Futurama and The Simpsons.

My name is Barbora Koppová; some of my friends call me Bára. I am 17 years old and I have one sister. She is 10 years old and her name is Veronika. My mother is Eva and she is an accountant and my father’s name is Karel. He is a technician. We have a small black poodle whom we call Bessy, it’s a girl. Our family lives in a flat in the 4th floor without a lift.
I am allergic to pollen. My favourite food is Sushi. I eat nearly everything but fried foods. In my free time I play basketball. I have been playing it since I was 9 years old. I really love it. I can’t imagine I wouldn’t play it. I am also basketball referee for the first year.
My other passion besides basketball is England. I love this country. In July I spent 2 weeks in Oxford at the Kaplan International Colleges. In England I was many times either with my family or with school on a tour. My room proves my love to England. I have blue walls, a lot of accessories with Union Jack and trailers are with British motives. 
This school year I also prepare for the Cambridge CAE exam.

My name is Karin Mendlová and I am 16 years old. My nickname is Kája. I live in Brno. It is the second biggest city in Czech republic. I attend "gymnazium" Slovanské náměstí in Brno. I go to school 30–45 minutes. My favorite subjects are math and physics. I like singing, making jewellery, playing the piano and reading. I think that I am funny, friendly and helpful. I have a sister. Her name is Rita and she has 12 years old. I have chosen the project because I think that it will be good experience.

Hi!
My name is Laura Jůvová and I am 16 years old. I have two brothers Alexander and Marek. Marek is eight years older and Alex is eight years younger. As you probably know, I live in Brno, it is the second largest city of the Czech Republic. Brno is the capital of South Moravia and it is a beautiful city, with many sights and interesting places. I live in the part of the city named Královo Pole, it is near the school, so I don't have to wake up so early.
I have decided that I will sign up in this exchange visit because I think that I will find many new friends and it should be awesome experience.
I think that I am pleasant and witty. My favourite subjects are English and Biology. I like also History and Physics. In my hobbies belong music, films, drawing and fashion, but I love horse riding. I compete with my horse in show jumping. I like animals too, now we have a puppy, her name is Rose and she is lovely. I love entertainment and partying too. I also really like to listen music. My favourite singer is Taylor Swift.

My favourite autors are Milan Kundera, Haruki Murakami and Paulo Coelho. Very important part of my life is music. I listen to music every time and everywhere I can. My big love is Nick Cave but I also listen to Radiohead, Muse, PJ Harvey, MGMT, Pearl Jam and many more. I can´t imagine the world without good coffee.
